      Caring For Your My Cup

Before using any menstrual cup for the first time you will need to boil it in hot water for 3-5 minutes. You can do this in a saucepan or in the microwave.

You also need to do this before and after each period.

During your period simply empty any blood into the toilet, rinse in fresh water and then re-insert.  Easy!

You could also use some Cup-Wash once a day to ensure that your cup stays clean.  Rinse thoroughly with clean water before re-inserting each time.

If you’re out and about and don’t have access to fresh clean water, try Lunette’s specially designed Cup Wipes.

How Menstrual Cups Are Good For The Earth And Your Bank Balance

Did you know that by simply switching from using tampons to a my cup you could save 53kg of CO2 emissions from being produced?  As well as 39.5kg of waste from landfills and up to $2400 from purchasing single-use products.

These figures are astonishing and one of the reasons you should make the switch to reusable menstrual products.
