Beeswax wraps look great and keep your food fresh. Whether in your fridge or lunchbox, you'll love how these wraps look and how easy they are to use.
They also replace your plastic wrap, giving you the potential to save hundreds of metres of plastic from ending up in landfill.
Did you know... beeswax has natural antimicrobial properties? This helps to keep your food fresher for longer and makes cleaning them an easy task.
What are Beeswax Wraps?
If you're new to beeswax wraps, then they are quite simply a piece of cotton fabric covered in a thin layer of beeswax. There's also a bit of tree resin and jojoba oil in there too to make the perfect beeswax mix that'll do the job and last as long as possible.
How Do You Use Medium Beeswax Wraps?
You'll want to make sure that you have the right size for the job. If you're covering a bowl or plate you need just enough to cover and wrap over the rim. Pull the wrap tight and use the warmth from your hands to stick the wrap around the rim.
If you're covering an item of food directly, you'll need enough to fully wrap your item plus a little extra to overlap. (You can also use a bigger wrap.) Wrap your food just like a present and fold over the edges, sticking the wrap to itself to seal your food in.
