What Do Konjac Face Sponges Do?

They gently cleanse and exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells, giving you glowing more radiant skin. The sponge is extremely gentle making it great for daily use. It's also great to remove make-up and it's so gentle that it is also perfect for washing babies.

Why Do The Konjac Sponges Come In Different Colours?

Konjac sponges are generally one colour, white, but adding active ingredients can change its colour. 

Black sponges have charcoal added.
Green sponges have green tea added.

Which Konjac Face Sponge Is Best For My Skin?

Original Konjac Sponge (off white) - This face sponge has no added active ingredients. It is the most gentle and is great for all skin types, including babies and those with sensitive skin.

Charcoal Konjac Sponge (black) - This face sponge is great for oily or acne prone skin. The active charcoal has natural antibacterial properties that helps to detoxify your skin and helps to reduces acne.

Green Tea Sponge (Green) - This face sponge is great for combination skin types. Green tea has natural antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties making this sponge great for mature skin, sun burns or those who suffer from blackheads or blemishes.

How To Use Konjac Facial Sponges

1. Soak your konjac sponge in warm water for about 10-15 minutes before using it. This will allow it to expand to its full size.
2. Once at its full size, squeeze the sponge to remove most of the water it has soaked up.
3. Rub the konjac sponge onto your skin using a circular motion. Avoid your eyes.
4. You can use the konjac sponge with or without your usual cleaning products. However, you will need less product as the sponge works with your products to help cleanse your skin.
5. Hang to fully dry. 

How To Clean A Konjac Sponge

After each use squeeze as much water out of the sponge as you possible can. Then hang in a place where it can fully dry. 

Once a week, leave your konjac sponge to sit in boiling water for a couple of minutes to sanitise it.

Don't be surprised if you see the sponge begin to breakdown... it is made from a plant and is fully biodegradable.

Replace the sponge every 1-3 months.
