Why should I move from cotton disposables to reusables?

Many shops sell cotton round pads and we've all used them, but we now know that these are made from cotton grown with pesticides (because it's cheaper to grow). But that harms both the environment and the farmers.  Cotton is also a really thirsty plant, using as much as 20,000 litres of water to produce just 1kg of cotton.  

Investing in reusable certified organic cotton is really the most environmentally friendly option for a product such as this one.  No pesticides were used along the process from growing to manufacturing and you're getting the most out of what water was used to grow the cotton, by using it time and time again.

How to dispose of your cotton pads and wash bag?

When your cotton facial pads and bag have come to the end of their lives, simply cut them up and put them into your compost bin.  They are made from certified organic cotton which means they will easily compost into soil.
