Super absorbent, light, soft, comfortable and leak proof.

The average NZ woman uses approximately 4kg worth of disposable menstrual products every year. All of which ends up in our landfills and will remain there for hundreds of years. Swapping disposables for reusables means that no waste goes to landfill, and as Hannah’s panty liners are designed to last for years, over your menstruating lifetime you will massively reduce your carbon footprint!
Yes. Although cloth pads are an initial investment, once you have them, you won’t need to buy menstrual products month after month. And the more you use each pad, the more you save. Hannah have designed their cotton pads to be of the highest quality to ensure that they last you for as long as possible. If you keep them safe and follow the washing instructions they could last for you years!
Hannah is a brand focused on your health and the health of Mother Earth. It only uses sustainable organic cotton, meaning no toxic pesticides are used to grow the cotton, and to be sure they have been Control Union Certified. This means that their industry supply chains are officially recognised as sustainable.
Hannah cares about everything along their manufacturing chain, from the cotton farmers health, the farming practices to protect the environment, all the way to you and your body. Hannah wants to give you a top quality product that is 100% toxin free.
1. Rinse your panty linerss as soon as possible after wearing them to remove any discharge. Use cold water as hot water causes blood stains to set.
2. Rub your bar of Probiotic Laundry Soap into your panty liners and rub to form a lather. Don't rinse.
3. Fill a tub or bucket with cold water and leave your Hannahpads to soak for between 6 and 48 hours.
4. Wash by hand or machine wash in cold water.
5. Dry in the sun where possible as it is a natural antibacterial. A laundry hanger can make drying your pads easy.
To keep your panty liners looking great for as long as possible please stick to these simple guidelines;
- Do not bleach.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not tumble dry/machine dry.
- Do not use fabric softener.
After washing your Hannah cotton pads you must dry them as quickly as possible to avoid them becoming mouldy.
Drying them in the sun immediately after washing is the best solution to avoiding mould. Ensure they are fully dry before storing. If your pads do become mouldy you can soak them in a solution of vinegar or borax.
Please follow the manufacturers instructions carefully.
For your health & hygiene, do not use your Hannah cotton pads if any mould is present. If mould persists dispose of the pad. It is each individuals responsibility to wash and maintain their pads once purchased.
Hannah or Reuseful does NOT take responsibility for the incorrect use and/or washing and care of the product.
But don’t let this put you off, caring for reusable panty liners is easy, you manage not to wear mouldy undies don't you?!

They work well - not sure how I'll like them when the inevitable staining occurs (just being realistic - not meaning to be gross) I soak the used one in soapy water overnight and rinse and dry the following day. Putting more soap into the environment but it's less than the terrible number of discarded disposable items. One of the domes out of the 4 I purchased is not quite right but that can be overcome. I'm happy with them. Thank you P.S. Not quite economical in as much as I would get through a year of purchased pantyliners before these have paid for themselves. Still like them though
I have been exploring panty liner options for some time. I have had major abdominal surgery and it has affected my bladder function including frequent urinary tract infections. I wear a liner all the time as ‘insurance’, though the need for it comes and goes. I have to pay scrupulous attention to hygiene among other things and so change pads regularly. I am giving away disposable liners because of the impact on the environment and so need to make quite an investment in fabric liners. I like the Hannah Pad liners because the length and shape work for me, also the fabric against the skin is soft and comfortable. The liner anchors well too. I have tried several other brands.
It takes a little getting used to after using disposables. They do a great job and I think they keep me fresher than disposables did. Washing them is easy and they dry well. After washing they are just like new again. I would recommend these and I will be buying more. The purchasing experience was excellent easy to order online and excellent communication from Kelly. I was surprised how quickly they arrived.
To give an honest review, I will start by saying, moving away from single-use daily liners to these pads does take a little bit of getting used too. There is obviously a bit more bulk to these compared to a single-use liner. BUT, for an eco-friendly option, I think they'd be hard to beat. I wear them daily (for discharge), sorry if TMI, but they work brilliantly for this purpose (and I couldn't find a review confirming this when I was looking for a solution, so hopefully this helps someone else!). I did a bit of research on options, and for me, these are the winner on price, function, style, availability and supporting an NZ store.
I recently purchased the Hannah liners from Reuseful, and I have found this to be perfect for every day use. I now have two sets (ones I purchased previously), and these are the right size for liners, they're slim-line and not bulky like others I've tried. Kelly made the purchase super easy, and these were delivered quickly and were packaged in sustainable packaging which was a huge bonus. I would happily purchase from Reuseful again, and would highly recommend. Thanks!
