What is in Lunette's Cup Wash?

The period cup cleanser from Lunette is the perfect match for your menstrual cup. The cup wash has been scented with lemon and eucalyptus oil, especially selected for their purifying and cleansing properties.

How do you Clean a Menstrual Cup?

Before using for the first time, boil your new cup in a pan of water with a drop of cup wash for 15 mins.
You can also put it into the microwave for 5 mins. Put it into a microwavable bowl that is filled with water (and a drop of cup wash).  Whatever method you use, be sure to keep an eye on the level of water. You may need to add more if it evaporates.

Before and after each period boil your Lunette cup with a drop of cup wash for 3-5 minutes.  Again you can use a pan or the microwave.

During your period simply empty any blood into the toilet, rinse the cup in cold water first, then wash in warm water and a drop of cup wash, thoroughly rinse and then re-insert.  Easy!

If you’re out and about and don’t have access to water, try Lunette’s specially designed Cup Wipes.  Empty your cup into the toilet and then wipe clean with a wipe before reinserting.
